• HIGH LEVEL IN/OUT (FROM AMPLIVIER): Speaker-level inputs and outputs for connecting to an amplifier or receiver without a dedicated subwoofer output.
• AUTO/ON/OFF Switch: Controls the power state. 'AUTO' mode detects an audio signal to turn on/off. 'ON' keeps the subwoofer powered. 'OFF' powers down the unit.
• VOLUM: Adjusts the output level of the subwoofer.
• LOW LEVEL INPUT (L/R, mono): RCA inputs for connecting to a receiver or preamplifier with a dedicated subwoofer output.
• PHASE (Rev/Norm): Adjusts the phase of the subwoofer output relative to the main speakers. 'Norm' (0 degrees) or 'Rev' (180 degrees).

5. Configuració

5.1 Col·locació

The placement of your subwoofer significantly impacts its performance. Experiment with different locations to find the best sound for your room. Generally, placing the subwoofer in a corner can enhance bass output, but may also lead to boomy sound. Placing it along a wall can provide a more balanced response. Ensure the subwoofer is placed on a stable, level surface.

5.2 Connexions

Before making any connections, ensure the subwoofer and your audio receiver/amplifier are turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.

Option 1: Low-Level Input (Recommended)

1. Connect an RCA cable from the 'SUBWOOFER OUT' or 'LFE OUT' jack on your receiver/amplifier to the 'LOW LEVEL INPUT' (L or mono) jack on the subwoofer.
2. If your receiver has separate left and right subwoofer outputs, connect both to the L and R 'LOW LEVEL INPUT' jacks on the subwoofer.

Option 2: High-Level Input/Output

Use this option if your receiver/amplifier does not have a dedicated subwoofer output.

1. Connect the speaker wires from your receiver/amplifier's main left and right speaker outputs to the 'HIGH LEVEL IN' terminals on the subwoofer. Match positive (+) to positive and negative (-) to negative.
2. Connect speaker wires from the 'HIGH LEVEL OUT' terminals on the subwoofer to your main left and right speakers. Again, match positive to positive and negative to negative.

5.3 Connexió d'alimentació

Once all audio connections are made, connect the supplied power cord to the subwoofer's power inlet and then to a suitable AC wall outlet.

6. Instruccions de funcionament

6.1 Engegada/apagada

• AUTOMÀTIC: Set the 'AUTO/ON/OFF' switch to 'AUTO'. The subwoofer will automatically turn on when an audio signal is detected and enter standby mode after a period of inactivity.
• ACTIVITAT: Set the switch to 'ON' for continuous operation.
• DESACTIVAT: Set the switch to 'OFF' to completely power down the subwoofer.

6.2 Configuració inicial

1. Volum: Start with the 'VOLUME' control set to its minimum position.
2. Freqüència d'encreuament: If using a receiver with bass management (LFE output), set the 'CROSSOVER FREQUENCY' on the subwoofer to its maximum (150Hz). Your receiver will manage the crossover. If using high-level inputs or a receiver without bass management, set the crossover frequency to match the low-frequency extension of your main speakers (e.g., 80-100Hz).
3. Fase: Set the 'PHASE' switch to 'Norm' (0 degrees).

6.3 Fine-Tuning

1. Play a familiar piece of music or movie scene with strong bass content.
2. Gradually increase the 'VOLUME' control on the subwoofer until the bass blends seamlessly with your main speakers without overpowering them.
3. Experiment with the 'PHASE' switch. Listen to the bass response in both 'Norm' and 'Rev' positions. Choose the setting that provides the most impactful and coherent bass.
4. If you are not using your receiver's bass management, adjust the 'CROSSOVER FREQUENCY' to achieve the smoothest transition between the subwoofer and your main speakers.

• Neteja: Dust the subwoofer cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol sprays.
• Ventilació: Ensure that the ventilation openings on the rear panel are not obstructed.
