Configuració

1. Desempaquetar components: Carefully remove the griddle, Control Master heat control, and any packaging materials.

2. Neteja inicial: Before first use, wash the griddle surface with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do NOT immerse the Control Master heat control in water.
3. Attach Heat Control: Insert the Control Master heat control into the receptacle on the side of the griddle. Ensure it is firmly seated.

4. Posicionament: Place the griddle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets that could be damaged by heat or steam.

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Preescalfament: Plug the Control Master heat control into a 120-volt AC wall outlet. Turn the temperature dial to your desired setting (ranging from Warm to 400°F). The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the griddle is heating.
2. Cuina: Once the indicator light turns off, the griddle has reached the set temperature. You may lightly grease the nonstick surface if desired, though it is often not necessary. Place food directly onto the griddle surface.

3. Manteniment de la temperatura: The Control Master heat control will cycle on and off during cooking to maintain the selected temperature. The indicator light will turn on when the heating element is active and off when the temperature is stable.

Griddle not heating:

Ensure the Control Master heat control is fully inserted into the griddle receptacle and the power cord is securely plugged into a working 120-volt outlet. Check if the temperature dial is set to an active heating temperature (not "OFF" or "WARM" if higher heat is desired).

Food sticking to the surface:

Although the griddle has a nonstick surface, a light application of cooking spray or oil before preheating can further prevent sticking, especially for certain foods. Ensure the griddle is properly preheated before adding food.

Escalfament desigual:

The heavy cast aluminum base is designed for even heat distribution. If uneven heating is suspected, ensure the griddle is placed on a flat, stable surface and that the heat control is functioning correctly (indicator light cycling on and off). Allow sufficient preheating time.
