Configuració i instal·lació

Follow these steps to install your Brita Faucet Mount Water Filtration System:

1. Prepare Your Faucet: Unscrew the aerator from your faucet. If your faucet threads are on the outside, you may attempt to attach the system directly. If your faucet has threads on the inside, you will need to use one of the provided adapters.
2. Attach Base System: Securely attach the base system to your faucet. Ensure a tight fit to prevent leaks.
3. Insert Filter Cartridge: Insert the filter cartridge into the filter cup of the system.
4. Flush New Filter: Flush the new filter cartridge with cold water for 5 minutes. This conditions the filter and removes any carbon fines. The 100-gallon filter life begins after this 5-minute conditioning period.

The system fits standard 55/64" size faucets and includes adaptors for 13/16" and 15/16" sizes. No tools are typically required for installation.

Instruccions de funcionament

Your Brita Faucet Mount System offers convenient access to filtered water and multiple spray options:

• Aigua filtrada: To dispense filtered water, rotate the selector lever to the filtered water position. Water will flow through the filter, reducing lead, chlorine (taste and odor), asbestos, and other contaminants.
• Unfiltered Water: For regular tap water, rotate the selector lever to the unfiltered water position. Water will bypass the filter.
• Unfiltered Spray: For a wider spray of unfiltered water, rotate the selector lever to the unfiltered spray position. This is ideal for washing dishes or rinsing.

Electronic Filter Indicator

The system features a built-in electronic filter indicator that automatically signals when it's time to replace the filter. This indicator changes color to provide a visual cue:

• Llum verda: Filter is in good condition.
• Llum groga: Filter needs to be replaced soon.
• Llum vermella: Filter needs to be changed immediately.

Manteniment

Substitució del filtre

It is recommended to replace your Brita faucet-mount water filter every 100 gallons or approximately every four months, whichever comes first, to ensure optimal performance and water quality. The electronic filter indicator will guide you on when to replace it.

Per substituir el filtre:

1. Remove the old filter cartridge from the system.
2. Insert a new Brita replacement filter cartridge.
3. Flush the new filter with cold water for 5 minutes as per initial setup instructions.
