While the video shows a Fluke 53 II, the connection and basic operational principles apply to the Fluke 51 II model.
3. Funcionament
3.1 Engegada/apagada
Press the green power button (ⓘ) to turn the thermometer on. Press and hold the power button to turn it off.
3.2 Taking Temperature Measurements
- Ensure the thermocouple probe is securely connected.
- Place the tip of the thermocouple probe in contact with the object or environment whose temperature you wish to measure.
- The current temperature reading will be displayed on the large backlit LCD screen.
3.3 Changing Temperature Units (℃/℉/K)
Premeu el botó ℃/℉/K per alternar entre les unitats de temperatura Celsius, Fahrenheit i Kelvin.
3.4 Min/Max/Average Function
The Fluke 51 II can track minimum, maximum, and average temperature readings over a period. Press the MIN / MAX button to activate this function. Subsequent presses will cycle through minimum, maximum, and average values, along with their respective time references. Press CANCEL·LA per sortir d'aquest mode.
3.5 Funció de retenció de dades
To freeze the current temperature reading on the display, press the MANTENIM button. Press it again to release the hold and resume live readings.
3.6 Electronic Offset Function
The thermometer features an electronic offset function to compensate for thermocouple errors, ensuring maximum accuracy. Refer to the detailed manual for specific calibration procedures if required.
4. Manteniment
4.1 Neteja
To maintain the device, wipe the exterior clean with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from any probes before cleaning.
4.2 Substitució de la bateria
When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the three AA batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation and accurate readings.
4.3 Cura de la sonda
Handle thermocouple probes with care. Avoid bending or kinking the cable excessively. Clean probes after each use, especially if exposed to corrosive substances, to prolong their lifespan and maintain accuracy.
