1. Salvaguardes importants
Quan utilitzeu aparells elèctrics, sempre s'han de seguir les precaucions bàsiques de seguretat per reduir el risc d'incendi, descàrrega elèctrica i/o lesions a les persones, incloses les següents:

The Sanyo HPS-SG4 is an extra-large indoor barbecue grill and griddle designed for versatile cooking. 3. Configuració
- Desembalatge: Carefully remove the grill and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
- Neteja inicial: Before first use, wipe down the nonstick cooking surface and the griddle lid with a damp cloth. Wash the removable drip pan with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts completely.
- Col·locació: Place the grill on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the appliance for ventilation. Do not place it directly under cabinets or near flammable materials.
- Drip Pan Installation: Slide the clean drip pan into its designated slot beneath the cooking surface. For virtually smoke-free grilling, fill the drip pan with approximately 1/2 inch of water before cooking.
- Connexió d'alimentació: Ensure the temperature control dial is in the "OFF" position. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
4. Instruccions de funcionament
4.1 Preescalfament
- Ensure the drip pan is correctly installed and filled with water if desired.
- Turn the temperature control dial to your desired cooking temperature. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the grill is heating.
- Allow the grill to preheat for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until the indicator light turns off, indicating the set temperature has been reached.
4.2 Grill
- Place food directly onto the ribbed grill surface.
- Cook according to recipe or desired doneness, turning food as needed. The grill surface is designed to sear grill marks onto food while allowing excess fat to drain into the drip pan.
- Use non-metallic utensils to avoid damaging the nonstick coating.
4.3 Griddling
- Place food onto the flat griddle surface.
- For steaming vegetables or faster cooking, place the griddle lid over the food.
- Monitor food closely to prevent overcooking.
4.4 Després de la cocció
- Once cooking is complete, turn the temperature control dial to the "OFF" position.

5. Neteja i Manteniment

- Refredament: Always ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool before attempting to clean.
- Remove Drip Pan: Carefully slide out the drip pan. Dispose of any collected fat or liquids. The drip pan is dishwasher-safe for convenient cleaning.
- Superfície de cocció neta: Wipe the nonstick grill and griddle surfaces with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn food residue, use a small amount of mild dish soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or metal utensils, as these can damage the nonstick coating. The main unit with the heating element is not immersible in water.
- Clean Griddle Lid: The griddle lid can be washed with warm, soapy water or placed in the dishwasher.
