1. Introducció

5. Configuració i instal·lació

Before you begin, ensure the main water supply to the tub/shower is turned off.

1. Remove Old Trim: Carefully remove the existing handles, escutcheon, and any other trim components from your Mixet valve. Note the orientation of the existing components for reference.

3. Install Retainer Nut: If your existing valve does not have one, install the new faucet stem retainer nut onto the valve body. Hand-tighten, then use an adjustable wrench to gently snug it. Do not overtighten.
4. Position Escutcheon: Place the new 5-1/2" OD escutcheon over the valve body and retainer nut. Ensure it sits flush against the wall. You may apply a thin bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the back edge of the escutcheon for a watertight seal, if desired.
