1. Introducció

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your Pentax K-x Digital SLR camera. The Pentax K-x is a high-performance digital SLR featuring a 12.4-megapixel CMOS sensor, sensor-shift Shake Reduction, and HD video recording capabilities. This kit includes the versatile 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL lens, offering a broad range of photographic opportunities.

2. Configuració

2.1. Desembalatge i comprovació del contingut

Carefully unpack your Pentax K-x camera and verify that all items are present:

2.2. Instal·lació de la bateria

The Pentax K-x operates on four AA batteries. For optimal performance and battery life, lithium AA batteries are recommended. NiMH rechargeable and alkaline AA batteries are also compatible.

1. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria que es troba a la part inferior de la càmera.
2. Introduïu quatre piles AA, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-) tal com s'indica a l'interior del compartiment.

2.3. Fixació de la lent

To attach the 18-55mm lens:

1. Remove the body mount cover from the camera body and the rear cap from the lens.
2. Align the red index mark on the lens barrel with the red index mark on the camera's lens mount.

2.4. Inserció de la targeta de memòria

The Pentax K-x uses SD/SDHC memory cards (not included). Ensure the camera is turned off before inserting or removing the memory card.

2. Insert the SD/SDHC card with the label facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.

3. Funcionament de la càmera

3.1. Controls de la càmeraview

• Marcador de mode: Located on the top of the camera, used to select shooting modes (e.g., Auto Picture, P, Av, Tv, M, Scene Modes).

3.2. Fotografia bàsica

For quick and easy shooting, use the Imatge automàtica mode. The camera automatically selects the optimal settings for the scene.

1. Gireu el selector de mode a AUTO PICT.

3.4. Gravació de vídeo

The Pentax K-x can record widescreen HD video in 720p resolution (1280x720) at a cinematic frame rate of 24fps.

1. Turn the mode dial to the movie icon.
2. Press the Live View (LV) button to activate Live View.
3. Press the shutter button to start and stop recording.

Nota: During video recording, the camera's built-in microphone may pick up operational sounds from the Shake Reduction system. This is a characteristic of the camera's design.

3.5. Image Playback and Creative Filters

Per tornarview your photos and videos, press the Playback button. The K-x also includes creative processing and filter modes to apply unique special effects to your images directly in-camera.

4. Manteniment

4.2. Cura de la bateria

When not using the camera for extended periods, remove the AA batteries to prevent leakage. Store batteries in a cool, dry place. If using rechargeable NiMH batteries, ensure they are fully charged before use and discharged periodically to maintain their capacity.

4.3. Emmagatzematge

Store the camera in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity. Use the body cap and lens caps to protect the sensor and lens elements.
