Introducció

The Garmin Oregon 450 is a rugged handheld GPS navigator designed for outdoor adventures. Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

2. Twist the D-ring counter-clockwise and lift the cover off.
3. Insert two AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery cover and twist the D-ring clockwise to secure it.

3. Satellite Acquisition

The device uses HotFix satellite prediction to quickly acquire satellites. Ensure you are in an open area for the first use or after traveling long distances. The satellite page (accessible via the main menu) shows the strength of received satellite signals.

Manteniment

2. Impermeabilització

The Oregon 450 is waterproof to IEC 60529 IPX7 standards, meaning it can withstand incidental exposure to water of up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Ensure the battery compartment cover and any port covers are securely closed to maintain waterproofing.

3. Cura de la bateria

Remove batteries if the device will not be used for several months. This prevents battery leakage and potential damage to the unit.

Resolució de problemes
