Configuració

1. Powering On and Basic Weighing
The Seca 874 can be operated by foot switches, allowing for hands-free activation.
- To power on the scale, gently tap one of the foot switches located on the side of the display unit.
- Wait for the display to show "0.0" or "0.00" indicating it is ready for use.

The Seca 874 features a double display, allowing both the user and an observer (e.g., a doctor or nurse) to read the weight simultaneously. One display faces forward, and the other faces backward.

This function allows for the accurate weighing of toddlers or infants while being held by an adult. The scale first measures the adult's weight, then subtracts it when the adult steps on with the child.
- First, the adult steps onto the scale alone and waits for their weight to be measured and stored.
- Then, the adult steps off the scale.
- The adult then steps back onto the scale holding the child.
- The scale will automatically calculate and display the child's weight by subtracting the adult's previously stored weight.
