4. Configuració

4.1. Carregant la bateria

1. Connecteu el carregador a una presa de corrent estàndard.
2. Slide the 12V Max Lithium-Ion battery into the charger until it clicks into place.
3. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 30 minutes.

4.2. Instal·lació/extracció de la bateria

1. To install: Align the battery with the base of the driver and slide it in until it clicks securely.
2. To remove: Press the release tabs on the sides of the battery and slide it out.

4.3. Inserting/Removing Bits

The PS21-2A features a 1/4 inch quick-change hex chuck.

1. To insert: Push the hex bit directly into the chuck until it locks.
2. To remove: Pull the chuck collar forward and pull the bit out.

5.1. Activador de velocitat variable

The tool features a variable-speed trigger. The speed of the tool increases as you press the trigger further. This allows for precise control over drilling and driving applications.

5.2. Configuració de velocitat

The PS21-2A has two mechanical speed settings, selected via a switch on top of the tool:

• Velocitat 1 (Baixa): 0-350 RPM. Provides higher torque for driving screws and drilling in tougher materials.
• Velocitat 2 (Alta): 0-1,300 RPM. Provides faster speed for lighter drilling and quick fastening.

5.3. Torque Settings (Clutch)

The adjustable clutch allows you to set the torque for specific applications, preventing over-driving screws or damaging materials. It offers 20+1 settings:

• Settings 1-20: For driving screws. Lower numbers provide less torque, higher numbers provide more.
• Drill Mode (Drill Bit Symbol): Bypasses the clutch for maximum torque, ideal for drilling.

Rotate the collar at the front of the tool to select the desired torque setting or drill mode.

5.4. Botó endavant/marrere

A slide switch located above the trigger controls the direction of rotation:

• Push left: Forward rotation (for driving screws).
• Push right: Reverse rotation (for removing screws).
• Center position: Locks the trigger to prevent accidental operation.

6. Manteniment

6.1. Neteja

• Mantingueu netes les obertures de ventilació de l'eina per evitar el sobreescalfament.
• Regularly wipe down the tool with a soft, damp tela. No utilitzeu productes químics aggressivs ni netejadors abrasius.

• Emmagatzemeu les bateries en un lloc fresc i sec, lluny de la llum solar directa i de temperatures extremes.
• No emmagatzemeu les piles descarregades durant períodes prolongats. Torneu-les a carregar periòdicament.
