2. Instruccions d'instal·lació

Abans de començar:

• Ensure the water supply to the filter housing is turned off.
• Relieve any pressure in the system by opening a nearby faucet.
• Have a bucket or towel ready to catch any residual water.

1. Unscrew the filter housing sump from the filter head.

3. Clean the inside of the filter housing sump with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Inspect the O-ring on the filter housing. If it is damaged or worn, replace it. Lubricate the O-ring with a small amount of silicone grease if necessary.
5. Insert the new Culligan D-250A-D replacement cartridge into the housing, ensuring it is seated correctly.
6. Screw the filter housing sump back onto the filter head. Hand-tighten only; do not overtighten.
7. Slowly turn on the water supply to the filter housing.
8. Check for leaks around the filter housing. If leaks occur, turn off the water, slightly tighten the housing, and recheck.
9. Flush the new filter by running water through it for approximately 5 minutes to remove any carbon fines.

After installation and flushing, the filter is ready for use. The initial water flow may appear cloudy due to trapped air, which will clear within a few minutes of continuous use.

The filter operates continuously as water flows through your system. No user interaction is required during normal operation. Monitor water taste, odor, and flow rate to determine when a replacement is needed.
