Configuració

Upon receiving your 3B Scientific B40 Deluxe Muscle Torso, carefully unpack all components. The model is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Ensure all 31 parts are present and accounted for. The main torso body will be on its base, and smaller organs and removable sections will be individually wrapped.

Refer to the included 3B Torso Guide (available in binder and on CD-ROM) for detailed diagrams and identification of all parts. Begin by placing the main torso body on a stable surface.

Operating the Model (Removable Parts)

The 3B Scientific B40 model is designed for interactive learning, allowing for the removal and re-insertion of various anatomical structures. Handle all parts with care to ensure longevity.

Head and Brain

The 6-part head can be disassembled to reveal internal structures. The 4-part brain dissects into frontal, temporal, and occipital lobes, half of the brain stem, and cerebellum. The eyeball, complete with muscles, ligaments, and optic nerve, is also removable.

Chest and Abdominal Organs

The chest and abdominal wall with muscles can be removed to access the internal organs. The female mammary gland is also removable. Key organs include:

Spinal Column and Muscles

The 7th thoracic vertebra is removable, allowing for detailed study of the vertebrae, spinal cord, spinal nerves, and vertebral arteries. The deltoid and gluteus maximus muscles can also be removed to reveal deeper muscle tissue.

Genital Inserts

The model includes interchangeable genital inserts: a 3-part female insert with a fetus and a 4-part male insert. These allow for comparative study of the reproductive systems.
