The SL-451 can be powered by batteries or an external power adapter.

1. Mesura bàsica

- Weighting (A/C): Utilitza el A/C button to switch between A-weighting (for general noise measurement, mimicking human ear response) and C-weighting (for measuring peak sound pressure levels).
- Response Time (FAST/SLOW): Utilitza el RÀPID/LENT button to select the desired response time. Fast response is suitable for rapidly changing noise, while slow response is for more stable noise levels.
