Configuració i instal·lació
1. Instal·lació de la bateria
The SureFlap Microchip Pet Door requires 4 C non-rechargeable alkaline batteries (not included). The battery compartment is located on the top of the unit. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.

The pet door can be installed in doors, windows, or walls. Consider the height appropriate for your pet. For glass installations, a pet door mounting adaptor is required. For wall installations, a mounting adaptor and one or more tunnel extenders may be required.

3. Preparing the Opening
Use the exterior frame of the pet door as a template to mark the cut-out area. Ensure the dimensions are accurate for a proper fit.

Instruccions de funcionament
1. Programming Microchips/RFID Tags
The pet door can store up to 32 pet identities. To program your pet's microchip or the included RFID collar tag:
- Press the "Learn" button (often labeled with an 'Fn' or a paw print icon) on the control panel. The indicator light will flash.
- Encourage your pet to pass through the pet door. As your pet's microchip or collar tag is read, the door will register it.
- The light will change to a solid color or beep to confirm successful registration. Repeat for all pets.
The pet door is compatible with 9 (Avid Secure), 10 (FDXA), and 15 (FDXB) digit microchip numbers. If you are unsure of your pet's microchip number, consult your veterinarian or animal shelter.

2. Selective Entry and Exit
The pet door scans on entry only, allowing only registered pets to come in. Any animal can exit the door. You can program the door to lock and unlock at specified times to set a curfew for your pets.
3. Indicador de bateria baixa
When the batteries are low, the indicator light will flash red, signaling that the batteries need to be replaced soon. Estimated battery life is up to 12 months, depending on usage.
