Configuració: Configuració de la combinació
The ABUS 145/40 C padlock comes with a factory preset combination, usually 0-0-0 or a similar default. Follow these steps to set your personal combination:
- Ensure the padlock is open. If it is currently locked, dial the current combination (factory preset or your last set combination) to open the shackle.
- Rotate the shackle 90 degrees (or 180 degrees, depending on the model) from its locked position.
- Press the shackle down firmly into the lock body. While holding it down, set your desired new combination by turning the dials. Choose a memorable but secure combination.
- Once your new combination is set, release the shackle and return it to its original locked position.
- Scramble the dials to lock the padlock. Test your new combination to ensure it opens the lock correctly before securing any valuables.
