4. Configuració

4.1. Inserció/substitució de la bateria

The heart rate monitor uses a replaceable battery. To insert or replace the battery:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the sensor module.
2. Use a coin to twist the battery cover counter-clockwise until it opens.
3. Insert a new CR2032 coin cell battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
4. Replace the battery cover and twist clockwise until it is securely closed.

4.2. Attaching and Wearing the Chest Strap

For accurate readings, the chest strap must be worn correctly:

1. Attach the heart rate monitor sensor module to the snaps on the elastic chest strap.
2. Adjust the strap length to fit snugly but comfortably around your chest, just below your pectoral muscles. The sensor module should be centered on your chest.
3. Moisten the electrode areas on the back of the strap (the ribbed sections) with water or electrode gel. This ensures good contact with your skin.
4. Wear the strap directly against your skin.

1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or receiving device.

6. Manteniment

6.1. Cleaning the Chest Strap

After each use, detach the sensor module from the strap. Rinse the elastic strap under running water and hang it to dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry the strap, as this can damage the electrodes. Do not use strong detergents or bleach.

6.2. Cleaning the Sensor Module

Wipe the sensor module with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the module in water.
