Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove the power supply from its packaging. Verify that all components are present: the KD3005D Power Supply unit, power cord, 5 Amp test leads, and this user manual.
2. Col·locació: Place the unit on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation. Ensure that the rear fan vent is not obstructed.
3. Entrada Voltage Selecció: Before connecting the power cord, check the voltage selector switch on the rear panel. Ensure it is set to your local mains voltage (110V or 220V). Incorrect setting can damage the unit.

4. Connexió d'alimentació: Connect the provided power cord to the AC input socket on the rear panel of the power supply, then plug the other end into a grounded wall outlet.

The green (GND) terminal is for earth ground connection, often connected to the negative terminal for common ground applications.

Instruccions de funcionament

The KD3005D operates in either Constant Voltage (CV) or Constant Current (CC) mode, automatically switching between them based on the load and set limits.

Funcionament bàsic:

1. Encès: Press the power switch on the front panel to turn on the unit. The LED displays will illuminate.
2. Configuració Voltage:

   • Push the knob to switch between coarse and fine adjustment modes. Coarse adjustment changes voltage in larger steps, while fine adjustment allows for precise tuning (0.01V increments).
   • The display will show the set voltage while adjusting, then revert to the actual output voltage.
3. Setting Current Limit:
   • Gira el Botó d'ajust actual to set the maximum output current (current limit).
   • Push the knob to switch between coarse and fine adjustment modes.
   • It is recommended to set the current limit slightly above the expected current draw of your circuit to provide protection against overcurrent.

To activate a shutdown when the current limit is exceeded, push and hold the Botó d'ajust actual until the "OCP" indicator illuminates. If OCP triggers, the supply will shut down. To reset, slightly adjust the voltage knob. If OCP is not active, the unit will enter Constant Current (CC) mode and reduce voltage to maintain the set current limit.
