2. Configuració i instal·lació

The TL01 T-Latch is designed for easy installation on all square posts and gate frames. Its dual adjustability allows for vertical and horizontal alignment to ensure a secure gate closure.

2.1. Abans de començar

• Ensure you have the necessary tools: drill, measuring tape, pencil, and appropriate fasteners (not included).
• Verify the gate gap is within the ideal range of 1" (25mm) with a variance of 3/8" – 1 3/4" (10 – 44mm).

3. Funcionament

The T-Latch operates with a simple toggle action. To open the gate, lift the latch bolt vertically. To close, simply swing the gate shut, and the latch bolt will automatically engage with the strike plate.

  • Check for proper alignment. The T-Latch is vertically and horizontally adjustable. Loosen mounting screws slightly, adjust the latch components for optimal engagement, and then re-tighten.
  • Inspect for gate sag or ground movement. The T-Latch is designed to accommodate these, but extreme movement may require gate adjustments.
• Latch Opening Unexpectedly (e.g., due to wind):
  • Ensure the latch is properly aligned and fully engaged.
