4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

  1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del rellotge.

4.2 Initial Time Setting (Radio Correction)

The clock will attempt to receive a radio signal to set the time automatically. This process may take some time.

  1. After inserting the battery, the clock hands will spin and stop at the 12 o'clock position.
  2. Place the clock in an open area, away from electronic devices that might interfere with the radio signal.
  3. Allow the clock to rest for approximately 10-30 minutes. During this time, the clock will attempt to receive the radio time signal (40 kHz/60 kHz automatic selection) and set itself.
  4. Un cop rebuda la senyal, les agulles del rellotge es mouran automàticament a l'hora correcta.

4.3 Manual Time Setting (If Radio Signal is Unavailable)

If the clock does not set automatically after an extended period or if you are in an area with poor radio signal reception, you can set the time manually:

  1. Locate the 'SET' button on the back of the clock (refer to Figure 2).
  2. Press and hold the 'SET' button. The clock hands will begin to move.
  3. Release the button when the hands reach the desired time.

4.4 Muntatge a la paret

El rellotge està dissenyat per muntar-se a la paret.

  1. Choose a suitable location on a wall, ensuring it is sturdy enough to support the clock's weight (approximately 1.1 kg).
  2. Install a screw or hook into the wall, leaving a small portion protruding.
  3. Align the hanging slot on the back of the clock with the screw/hook and securely hang the clock.

5. Característiques operatives

5.1 Radio Correction Function

The clock automatically receives standard radio waves (40 kHz/60 kHz) to correct the time, ensuring high accuracy. If the radio wave reception is poor or unavailable, the clock operates with standard quartz accuracy.

5.2 Radio Wave Off Function

This clock includes a function to disable radio wave reception if desired. Refer to the specific controls on the back of the clock (Figure 2) for instructions on activating or deactivating this feature.

5.3 Sleep Second Hand

The 'Sleep Second Hand' feature automatically stops the second hand during nighttime hours (typically between 10 PM and 6 AM) to conserve battery life and reduce noise. The second hand will resume normal operation in the morning.

5.4 Step Second

The clock features a 'Step Second' movement, where the second hand moves in distinct one-second increments.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

Per netejar el rellotge, netegeu suaument la superfície amb un drap suau i sec. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius, dissolvents ni esprais químics, ja que poden danyar l'acabat o els components interns.

6.2 Substitució de la bateria

When the clock's movement becomes erratic or stops, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1. Always use a fresh AA manganese battery.

7. Solució De Problemes

  • Clock not setting time automatically: Ensure the battery is correctly installed. Move the clock to a location with better radio signal reception, away from electronic interference. Allow sufficient time (up to 24 hours) for the clock to receive the signal. If unsuccessful, try manual time setting (Section 4.3).
  • Hands not moving: Check if the battery is depleted or incorrectly installed. Replace with a fresh battery if necessary.
  • Temps imprecís: If the clock is consistently inaccurate, it may not be receiving the radio signal. Try relocating the clock or setting the time manually.
  • Second hand stops at night: This is normal behavior due to the 'Sleep Second Hand' feature. It will resume in the morning.
