Introducció

The Laica Bi-Flux water filter cartridge is designed to filter tap drinking water, improving its taste and reducing the presence of certain unwanted substances. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Laica Bi-Flux filter cartridge.

Configuració i instal·lació

1. Desempaquetar el filtre: Carefully remove the Laica Bi-Flux filter cartridge from its polyethylene bag.
2. Prepareu el filtre: Before first use, immerse the filter cartridge completely in cold water for approximately 15 minutes. Gently shake it to remove any air bubbles. This step helps activate the filter media.
3. Insert into Jug: Place the prepared filter cartridge firmly into the designated compartment of your compatible Laica water filter jug (e.g., Clear line, Stream Line, Light Graffiti, Big Firenze, Carmen Aida) or Brita Maxtra compatible jug. Ensure it is seated correctly to prevent unfiltered water from bypassing the cartridge.
4. Filtració inicial: Fill the jug with tap water. Discard the first two filtered batches of water. This primes the filter and removes any loose carbon particles. The third batch of filtered water is ready for consumption.

Instruccions de funcionament

Once the filter cartridge is installed and primed, simply fill your water filter jug with tap water. The water will pass through the Bi-Flux filter, and the filtered water will collect in the lower reservoir of the jug, ready for use.

• Always use cold tap water for filtration.
• Do not filter hot water through the cartridge.
• Store filtered water in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator.

Manteniment i substitució

For optimal performance and water quality, the Laica Bi-Flux filter cartridge must be replaced regularly.

• Horari de substitució: Replace the filter cartridge after 30 dies of use or after filtering 150 litres of water, whichever comes first.
• Eliminació: Dispose of used filter cartridges according to local regulations for household waste.
• Neteja: The filter cartridge itself is not washable. Clean your water filter jug regularly according to its own instructions.
