3. Configuració

Follow these steps to set up your shredder:

2. Col·locació: Place the shredder on a stable, flat surface near a standard electrical outlet. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

Your shredder features a 3-mode power switch located on the top of the unit.

• AUTOMÀTIC: The shredder will automatically start when paper is inserted and stop when shredding is complete.

• REVERSA: Use this setting to clear paper jams by reversing the shredding mechanism.

4.1. Shredding Paper

2. Insert up to 6 sheets of 20-pound bond paper into the 8.7-inch paper-entry width slot. The shredder will automatically begin shredding.
3. Once shredding is complete, the motor will stop.

4.2. Shredding Credit Cards

4.3. Protecció contra el sobreescalfament

The shredder is designed for intermittent use. It has a maximum continuous run time of 3 minutes, followed by a 30-minute cool-down period. If the shredder runs continuously beyond its maximum run time, it will automatically shut off to protect the motor from overheating. An LED indicator will illuminate to signal an overheat condition. Allow the shredder to cool down before resuming operation.

5. Manteniment

Wipe the exterior of the shredder with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Periodically clear any paper dust or debris from around the shredding mechanism when the unit is unplugged.
