Your scale requires 2 x AAA batteries, which are included. To install:

2. Gently step onto the scale with bare feet, centering your weight.
3. Stand still until your weight is displayed on the 1.3" LCD screen.
4. The reading will hold for a few seconds before the scale automatically turns off.

For consistent readings, always weigh yourself at the same time of day, preferably in the morning before breakfast and after using the restroom.
