To maintain optimal suction, empty the clear dust bin regularly, ideally after each use. Hold the vacuum over a trash receptacle and press the red lever to release the bin's contents.

The filter should be washed with cold water at least once a month. Allow it to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting it into the vacuum. Do not use detergents or place it in a dishwasher.
