5.2. Cablatge

The COMPUTHERM Q7 thermostat requires two AA batteries for power and connects to your heating/cooling system via two wires.

1. Ensure the main power supply to your heating/cooling system is OFF.
2. Connect the two wires from your boiler or heating/cooling system to connectors 1 i 2 on the thermostat's back plate. The polarity of these connections does not matter.
3. Connector 3 is typically not used for standard installations.
4. Once wired, carefully attach the front panel of the thermostat to the back plate.

6.1. Resetting the Thermostat

If you need to reset the thermostat to factory settings, locate the small black 'Reset' button inside the battery compartment. Press and hold this button for approximately 5 seconds. The display will clear and reset.

7. Operating Modes & Programming

7.1. Manual Temperature Adjustment (Temporary Override)

To temporarily adjust the temperature until the next programmed period:

7.2. Hold Temperature (Permanent Manual Mode)

5. This program will automatically cancel after the set hours, and the thermostat will revert to its regular schedule.

7.6. Holiday Program (1-99 Days)

This function allows you to set a specific temperature for an extended period (1 to 99 days), useful when you are away from home.

The thermostat can operate in either heating or cooling mode.
