3. Configuració i instal·lació

Before beginning installation, ensure all necessary tools and safety equipment are available. This luminaire is designed for pole-top or wall mounting.

3.1 Instruccions de muntatge

1. Seleccioneu la ubicació: Choose a suitable mounting location that can support the weight of the luminaire and provides the desired light coverage. Ensure the location allows for proper electrical wiring.
2. Preparació de la superfície de muntatge: For pole mounting, ensure the pole is sturdy and has an appropriate diameter for the luminaire's bracket. For wall mounting, mark drilling points for the bracket.
3. Fixeu el suport: Securely attach the luminaire's mounting bracket to the pole or wall using appropriate hardware (not included). Ensure the bracket is level and firmly fixed.
4. Muntanya Luminaire: Carefully lift the luminaire and attach it to the pre-installed mounting bracket. Secure it with the provided screws or bolts, ensuring a tight and stable connection.

3.2 Connexió elèctrica

ADVERTIMENT: Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before making any electrical connections.

1. Compartiment de cablejat d'accés: Open the wiring compartment on the luminaire, typically by unscrewing a cover plate.
2. Connecteu els cables: Connect the supply wires to the luminaire's wires according to standard electrical codes:
   • Black (Live/Hot) to Black (Luminaire)
   • White (Neutral) to White (Luminaire)
   • Green or Bare Copper (Ground) to Green (Luminaire)
   Use appropriate wire connectors (not included) and ensure all connections are secure.
3. Seal Wiring Compartment: Carefully tuck all wires into the compartment and securely close the cover plate to ensure a weather-tight seal.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

The Volteck LSLE-50 LED Suburban Luminaire is designed for automatic operation.

• Funcionament automàtic del capvespre a l'alba: This luminaire is equipped with an integrated photocell sensor. Once power is supplied, the luminaire will automatically turn on at dusk and turn off at dawn.
• Anulació manual: There is no manual override switch on the luminaire itself. To temporarily turn off the light, power must be disconnected at the circuit breaker.
• Prova inicial: After installation, cover the photocell sensor to simulate darkness. The light should turn on. Uncover the sensor, and the light should turn off after a short delay.

5. Manteniment

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your luminaire.

• Neteja: Periodically clean the diffuser and the photocell sensor with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt, dust, and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure power is disconnected before cleaning.
• Inspecció: Annually inspect the luminaire for any signs of damage, loose connections, or wear. Check the mounting bracket for stability.
• Substitució de LED: The LED light source is integrated and not user-replaceable. If the LEDs fail, the entire luminaire typically requires replacement.
