3. Configuració i instal·lació

3.1 Muntatge

The GX93-W mini-horn is designed for flush mounting on walls or ceilings. Ensure the mounting location is clean, dry, and free from obstructions. The device should be mounted in accordance with local building codes and NFPA 72 requirements for audible signaling devices.

1. Select a suitable mounting location on a wall or ceiling.

3.2 Cablejat

Wiring must be performed with power disconnected from the FACP. The GX93-W supports 12 AWG to 18 AWG wires. Observe proper polarity.

1. Connect the positive (+) wire from the FACP or power supply to the positive terminal on the GX93-W.
2. Connect the negative (-) wire from the FACP or power supply to the negative terminal on the GX93-W.
3. If using a synchronization module (e.g., Gentex GX91/GX93), refer to the synchronization module's manual for specific wiring instructions.

• Temporal 3 Tone: This is a specific pattern of three short bursts followed by a pause, commonly used for fire evacuation signals. Note that the sound output rating for temporal 3 tone is averaged, meaning the peak sound pressure during the tone burst is higher than the stated average.
• Continuous Tone: A steady, uninterrupted audible signal.
• Sincronització: If connected to a compatible synchronization module, multiple GX93 Series horns will activate in a synchronized pattern.

Regular maintenance ensures the continued reliable operation of your GX93-W mini-horn.
