3. Configuració i primer ús
Before using your FoodSaver GM710-000, ensure all packaging materials are removed and the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface.

- Place the end of the roll into the sealing strip area.
- Press the "Seal" button. The unit will create a bottom seal for your bag.
- Once sealed, use the integrated cutter to separate the bag from the roll.
4.2 Vacuum Sealing with a Bag
- Place the food item into the FoodSaver bag, ensuring at least 3 inches of space between the food and the top of the bag.
- Lay the open end of the bag flat into the vacuum channel. Ensure the bag is smooth and free of wrinkles.
- Close the lid and press down firmly until the "Closed" indicator light illuminates.
- Press the "Vacuum & Seal" button. The unit will automatically remove air and then heat seal the bag.
- Monitor the "Progress" indicator lights. Once the "Sealing" light turns off and the "Closed" light remains, the process is complete.
- To release the bag, slide the latch to the "Open" position.

4.3 Using the Accessory Hose for Canisters and Containers
The accessory hose allows you to vacuum seal FoodSaver canisters and other compatible containers.
- Connect one end of the accessory hose to the accessory port on the unit.
- Connect the other end of the hose to the port on your FoodSaver canister or container.
- Close the lid of the canister/container according to its instructions.
- Press the "Accessory" button (if available) or "Vacuum & Seal" button. The unit will remove air from the container.
- Once vacuuming is complete, remove the hose.
4.4 Portable Use with 12V DC Adapter
