Configuració

Battery Installation/Activation

The Taylor 1476 thermometer comes with a pre-installed LR44 battery. Before first use, you must remove the insulation tab to activate the thermometer.

2. Carefully remove the small plastic insulation tab protruding from the battery compartment.

Instruccions de funcionament

Encesa/apagada

• To turn the thermometer ON, simply unfold the probe from its stored position. The display will illuminate.
• Alternativament, premeu el botó ON/OFF button located on the back of the unit.
• To turn the thermometer OFF, fold the probe back into its stored position. The display will turn off.
• Alternativament, premeu i manteniu premut ON/OFF button for a few seconds. The thermometer will also automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Selecting Temperature Unit (°C/°F)

• Per canviar entre Celsius (°C) i Fahrenheit (°F), premeu la tecla C / F button located on the back of the unit.

Lectura de la temperatura

1. Desplegueu la sonda per encendre el termòmetre.
2. Insert the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the food, avoiding bone or gristle.
3. Wait for the temperature reading on the LCD display to stabilize. This usually takes a few seconds.
4. Once the desired temperature is reached, remove the probe from the food.
5. Fold the probe back into the unit to turn off the thermometer and store it.

Nota important de seguretat:

• Digital thermometers are NO meant to be left in food during cooking in an oven or grill. The plastic and electronic components can be damaged by excessive heat.
• The thermometer probe will be hot after use. Use oven mitts or potholders when handling the hot probe.

Manteniment i cura

• Always clean the stainless steel probe after each use.
• Netegeu la sonda amb un anunciamp drap i detergent suau.
• Do NO immerse the entire thermometer in water or place it in a dishwasher. The electronic components are not waterproof.
• Dry the probe thoroughly before storing.

• Store the thermometer with the probe folded into the unit to protect it.
• Utilize the built-in carrying hole for convenient hanging storage if desired.
