Introducció

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your VTech CS6529-4B DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone System. Please read this manual thoroughly before using your new phone system to ensure proper functionality and to take full advantage de les seves característiques.

Configuració

2. Base Unit Installation

1. Connect the telephone line cord to the TEL LINE jack on the base unit and to a telephone wall jack.
2. Plug one end of the power adapter into the POWER jack on the base unit and the other end into an electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch.
3. Place the base unit on a flat surface or mount it on a wall.

3. Handset Battery Installation and Charging

Your handsets come with pre-installed rechargeable AAA batteries. Before initial use, charge each handset for at least 12 hours.

1. Place each handset into its respective charging cradle. Ensure the "CHARGE" indicator on the handset lights up.
2. Plug each charging cradle's power adapter into an electrical outlet.

4. Configuració de la data i l'hora

After the handsets are charged, you will need to set the date and time. This ensures accurate Caller ID records and answering system timestamps.

1. Premeu MENÚ/SELECT on any handset.

3. Enter the month, day, and year using the keypad. Press MENÚ/SELECT after each entry.

3. Caller ID and Call Waiting

The phone displays the name, number, time, and date of incoming calls. It stores up to 50 calls in the Caller ID log.

• Per tornarview the Caller ID log, press CID al telèfon.
• Utilitza el Amunt/Avall arrow keys to scroll through the entries.
• To call back a number from the log, press XERRADA / FLASH.

4. Digital Answering System

The integrated digital answering system can record up to 14 minutes of messages.

• To play messages: Premeu PLAY/STOP a la unitat base.
• To skip a message: Premeu SALTAR durant la reproducció.

5. Remote Access to Answering System

You can access your answering system messages from an outside line.

• Call your phone number from any touch-tone phone.
• When the answering system answers, enter your 2-digit remote access code.
• Follow the voice prompts to play, skip, or delete messages.

6. Phonebook Directory

10. Lighted Keypad

Manteniment

1. Cura de la bateria

• Use only the supplied rechargeable AAA batteries.
• For optimal performance, fully charge batteries for 12 hours before first use.

• Verify the charging cradle's power adapter is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
• Clean the charging contacts on both the handset and the cradle with a dry cloth.

Answering System Not Recording Messages

• Check if the answering system is turned ON (ANS ON/OFF button on the base).
• Ensure there is sufficient recording time available (up to 14 minutes). Delete old messages if necessary.

General System Reset

If issues persist, try resetting the system:

1. Unplug the base unit's power adapter from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the batteries from all handsets.

4. Plug the base unit's power adapter back into the electrical outlet.
5. Reinsert the batteries into the handsets.
6. Place the handsets back into their charging cradles.
7. Allow the system to re-establish connection for a few minutes.
