The device features a large LCD display on the front, showing time, temperature, humidity, and a comfort level gauge. The back includes a removable battery cover and buttons for settings. A built-in kickstand allows for convenient tabletop placement.

Configuració

1. Instal·lació de la bateria

1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior de la unitat.
2. Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it downwards.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover. The display should activate.

2. Col·locació

The Taylor Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer can be placed on a tabletop using its integrated kickstand or mounted on a wall.

• Col·locació de la taula: Extend the kickstand on the back of the unit and place the device on a flat, stable surface.
• Muntatge a la paret:
  1. Select a location on a wall that is out of direct sunlight.
  2. Two screws or nails (not included) are required for mounting. Place the first screw approximately 2 ¾” below the point where the top of the thermometer will be positioned, leaving screw or nail head out approximately ¼”. Place the second screw or nail 8” below the first.
  3. Place the clock/thermometer over the screws or nails heads.

Important Exposure Considerations:

• Do not mount in direct sunlight, near a heat source, or near a large body of water as these situations could affect the proper air temperature reading.
• Mount securely and protected from the wind to prevent against any damage from being knocked off the mounting screw and falling to the ground.

Instruccions de funcionament

1. Initial Display

Upon battery installation, the device will display the current time, indoor temperature, and humidity. The comfort level indicator will also show the current comfort zone.

2. Setting Time and Temperature Unit

Refer to the buttons on the back of the unit (often labeled "SET" and "°C/°F").

• Per establir l'hora: Press and hold the "SET" button until the time display begins to flash. Use the other button (often "UP" or "ADJ") to adjust the hour, then press "SET" to confirm and move to minutes. Repeat for minutes.
• Per canviar la unitat de temperatura: Press the "°C/°F" button to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

The device automatically records the minimum and maximum temperature and humidity readings over a 12 to 24-hour period.

• Press the "MIN/MAX" button (if available, or a multi-function button) to view the maximum recorded values.

• Press a third time to return to current readings.
• To clear the Min/Max memory, press and hold the "MIN/MAX" button while viewing the Min/Max values.

4. Indicador del nivell de confort

The colorful 5-level indicator at the top of the display visually represents the current indoor comfort level based on humidity:

• Red (DRY): Indicates low humidity.
• Green (COMFORT): Indicates optimal humidity levels.
• Blue (WET): Indicates high humidity.

Manteniment

1. Neteja

Netegeu la unitat amb un suau, damp drap. No utilitzeu productes de neteja abrasius ni submergiu la unitat en aigua.

2. Substitució de la bateria

When the display becomes dim or unresponsive, replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones.
