Introducció

The Kerbl SmartCam HD is a versatile IP security camera designed for various monitoring applications. It can function as a Wi-Fi hotspot for direct smartphone control without an internet connection, or as a trailer camera to monitor animals via the UCCAM app on iOS or Android mobile devices. Its robust design and magnetic holder allow for flexible placement and secure attachment without the need for drilling or screwing. The camera features powerful Li-ion batteries for extended operation and includes night vision capabilities.

Configuració

1. Càrrega inicial

Before first use, fully charge the SmartCam HD camera. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the camera and the power supply, then plug the power supply into a standard electrical outlet. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge ensures optimal battery performance.

2. Instal·lació de l'aplicació

Baixeu i instal·leu el UCCAM app on your smartphone or tablet. The app is available for both iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store) devices. Cerca "UCCAM" in your device's app store.

3. Wi-Fi Hotspot Connection (Direct Mode)

1. Power on the SmartCam HD camera.
2. On your smartphone or tablet, go to your Wi-Fi settings.
3. Locate and connect to the Wi-Fi network broadcast by the SmartCam (e.g., "SmartCam_XXXX"). No internet connection is required for this direct mode.
4. Open the UCCAM app. The camera should be automatically detected or can be added manually following the app's instructions.

The SmartCam HD features a strong magnetic holder for flexible and secure attachment. Identify a suitable metal surface for mounting. The camera can be easily positioned without drilling or screwing. Ensure the camera is securely attached before use, especially in moving environments like trailers.

En funcionament

1. Monitoring via UCCAM App

Once connected, open the UCCAM app on your smartphone or tablet to view the live video feed from the SmartCam HD. The app allows you to monitor your animals or surroundings. The camera supports access from multiple devices (smartphone, PC, or tablet).

2. Night Vision Function

The SmartCam HD is equipped with a night vision function, utilizing a light sensor, image sensor, and IR LEDs. This allows for clear monitoring even in low-light or complete darkness conditions. The night vision range is up to 5 meters.

3. Durada de la bateria

The camera's powerful Li-ion battery provides approximately 6 hours of video enjoyment. Specifically, battery life is around 5 hours with IR LEDs active and up to 8 hours without IR LEDs. Ensure the camera is fully charged for extended use.

Manteniment

• Neteja: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Emmagatzematge: When not in use for extended periods, store the camera in a cool, dry place. Ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) before storing to prolong its lifespan.
