Configuració i instal·lació

The PetSafe SmartDoor is designed for easy installation in wood or uPVC doors and walls with a thickness between 3.2 cm and 5.1 cm. It is not compatible with glass installations. For thicker walls, extension tunnels and wall adapters are available separately.

The PetSafe SmartDoor offers three operating modes and uses a SmartKey for selective entry.

SmartKey Functionality:

The SmartDoor detects the unique SmartKey worn on your pet's collar. When an authorized pet approaches, the door's locking mechanism disengages, allowing the pet to pass through. The door then re-locks automatically.

Programming SmartKeys:

Manteniment

Neteja:

Regularly clean the pet door's frame and flap with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the plastic. Ensure the flap moves freely and is free of debris.

The SmartDoor requires D-cell (LR20) batteries for operation. The SmartKey also uses a replaceable battery. Monitor the indicator lights on the door for low battery warnings. Replace batteries promptly to ensure continuous functionality. Battery life can vary depending on usage frequency.

  • Check if the SmartKey battery is dead or low. Replace if necessary.
  • Ensure the SmartDoor itself has fresh D-cell batteries.

• Slow Detection:
