1. Introducció
The LifeStraw Go Water Filter Bottle is a personal water filtration system designed to provide safe drinking water on the go. It features a 2-stage filtration process, combining a hollow fiber membrane microfilter and an activated carbon filter to reduce contaminants and improve water taste. This reusable bottle is ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and backpacking, as well as for travel to areas with uncertain water quality.

2. Configuració i primer ús
2.1 Neteja inicial
Before first use, disassemble the bottle and wash all components (bottle, cap, mouthpiece) with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly. Do not wash the filters with soap, as this can damage them.
2.2 Conjunt de filtres
Ensure the hollow fiber membrane microfilter and activated carbon filter are securely attached to the cap assembly. The activated carbon filter is typically located at the top of the membrane microfilter.

2.3 Priming the Filter
For optimal performance, the filter needs to be primed before its first use:
- Fill the bottle with potable water.
- Screw the cap assembly back onto the bottle tightly.
- Allow the filter to soak in the water for 5-10 minutes.
- Open the mouthpiece and take several strong sips to draw water through the filter. The first few sips may contain air bubbles or discolored water; this is normal. Discard the first few mouthfuls of water.
- Continue sipping until water flows freely and tastes clean.
3. Instruccions de funcionament

4. Manteniment i cura

4.2 Substitució del filtre
The LifeStraw Go bottle uses two types of filters, each with a different lifespan:
- Membrane Microfilter: Replace after filtering 4,000 liters (1,000 gallons) of water. When the filter has reached its capacity, it will stop allowing water to pass through.
- Filtre de carbó activat: Replace every 100 liters (26 gallons) or approximately every 3 months of continuous use, whichever comes first. This filter is crucial for reducing taste, odor, and chemical contaminants.
Replacement filters are available separately from authorized LifeStraw retailers.
4.3 Emmagatzematge
After final use, ensure the filter is thoroughly cleaned and dry. Store the bottle and filters in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage, it is recommended to replace the activated carbon filter before storing and again before next use.
5. Solució De Problemes
- Flux d'aigua lent: This often indicates the membrane microfilter is clogged. Try backwashing the filter more vigorously. If the issue persists after thorough cleaning, the filter may be nearing the end of its lifespan and require replacement.
- Unpleasant Taste/Odor: This typically means the activated carbon filter needs to be replaced. The carbon filter's effectiveness in removing taste and odor diminishes over time and use.
- Sense flux d'aigua: If no water flows through the filter, the membrane microfilter has likely reached its capacity of 4,000 liters and needs to be replaced. This is a safety feature to prevent consumption of unfiltered water.
- Fuga: Ensure all parts of the bottle and cap assembly are screwed on tightly and that the silicone seals are properly seated and free from damage. Check the mouthpiece for proper closure.
