4. Configuració

4.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

The FERVE F-1830 is powered by a 9V battery (not always included). To install or replace the battery:

1. Assegureu-vos que el multímetre estigui apagat i que els cables de prova estiguin desconnectats.

3. Remove the screw(s) securing the cover and gently lift it off.
4. Connect a new 9V battery to the battery clip, observing correct polarity.

5.1 DC VoltagMesura de e (V=)

Mesura el volum de corrent continutage from 0 to 600V.

1. Connect the black lead to 'COM' and the red lead to 'VΩmA'.
2. Set the rotary switch to the desired 'V=' (DC Voltage) range (e.g., 20V, 200V, 600V). If unsure, start with the highest range.
3. Connecteu les sondes de prova en paral·lel al component o circuit que s'ha de mesurar.

5.2 AC VoltagMesura de e (V~)

1. Connect the black lead to 'COM' and the red lead to 'VΩmA'.
2. Set the rotary switch to the desired 'V~' (AC Voltage) range (e.g., 200V, 600V).
3. Connect the test probes in parallel across the AC source or component.

5.3 DC Current Measurement (A=)

Measures direct current from 0 to 10A.

1. For currents up to 200mA, connect the black lead to 'COM' and the red lead to 'VΩmA'. For currents up to 10A, connect the red lead to '10A'.
2. Set the rotary switch to the appropriate 'A=' (DC Current) range (e.g., 200µA, 2mA, 20mA, 200mA, 10A).
3. Important: Connect the multimeter in series with the circuit. Break the circuit and insert the meter so that the current flows through it.

Measures resistance from 0 to 2 MOhms.
