Your Master Lock 4688D comes preset to open at 0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personalized combination:

1. Open the lock by rotating the dials to 0-0-0 and pulling up the shackle.
2. Rotate the shackle 90 degrees counter-clockwise from its open position.
3. Press the shackle down firmly into the lock body. While holding it down, rotate the shackle another 90 degrees counter-clockwise (total 180 degrees from open position).
4. Set your desired 3-digit combination by rotating the dials. Choose a memorable number.
5. Lift the shackle to its open position. The shackle will spring up.
6. Rotate the shackle back to its original open position (90 degrees clockwise).
7. Push the shackle down to lock it. Your new combination is now set.

Important: Write down your new combination and store it in a safe, memorable place. Master Lock does not retain combinations.
