3. Configuració

Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged using the provided MH-24 charger. Insert the charged EN-EL14a battery into the battery compartment located at the bottom of the camera. Insert a UHS-1 type, class 3 SD memory card (32GB or more recommended) into the memory card slot on the side of the camera.

To attach the lens, align the white mounting mark on the lens barrel with the white mounting mark on the camera body. Rotate the lens counter-clockwise until it clicks into place. To remove, press the lens release button and rotate clockwise.

4.1. Basic Controls and Mode Dial

• SnapBridge Connectivity Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the camera and your smart device. Re-pair the devices if connection problems persist. Check the Nikon SnapBridge app for updates.
• Lenses Not Autofocusing: The D3400 does not have an in-body autofocus motor. Ensure you are using AF-S or AF-P NIKKOR lenses for autofocus functionality. Older D-type lenses will require manual focus.
