1. Introducció

The AMAKE Wireless-N Mini Repeater is a versatile device designed to extend the range of your existing Wi-Fi network. It functions as both a Wi-Fi Repeater and a Standard AP (Access Point), providing enhanced wireless coverage and eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones in your home or office. With transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps, it ensures a stable and high-speed internet connection for all your devices.

The AMAKE Wireless-N Mini Repeater features a compact design with integrated antennas for stable signal transmission. It includes a LAN port for wired connections and a WPS button for easy, secure setup.

5. Configuració

5.1 Connexió inicial

1. Plug the Wireless-N Mini Repeater into a wall socket.
2. Wait for the power indicator light to turn on.

4. Connect to the network named 'Wireless-Repeater'. No password is required for the initial connection.

5.2 Configuració mitjançant Web Navegador

Once connected to the 'Wireless-Repeater' network, proceed with the configuration:

1. Obre a web navegador (per exemple, Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
2. A la barra d'adreces, escriviu http://192.168.10.1 and press Enter. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide.
3. The login page will appear. The default username and password are admin for both. Enter these credentials and click 'Submit'.
4. Upon successful login, you will see the setup wizard. Select 'Repeater' mode to extend your existing Wi-Fi network.
5. The device will scan for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your home or office Wi-Fi network from the list.
6. Enter the Wi-Fi password (security key) for your selected network.
7. Click 'Apply' or 'Save' to confirm the settings. The repeater will restart.
8. After the repeater restarts, your devices should automatically connect to the extended network, or you may need to reconnect to the new extended network name (often your original network name with '_EXT' or '_Plus' appended).

5.3 WPS Setup (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)

For a quick and secure setup, you can use the WPS button:

1. Plug the Wireless-N Mini Repeater into a power outlet near your main router.

3. Within two minutes, press the WPS button on the Wireless-N Mini Repeater.
4. The repeater's indicator lights will flash and then turn solid, indicating a successful connection.
5. You can now unplug the repeater and move it to a desired location within the range of your main router's signal.

The device supports two main operating modes:

6.1 Mode de repetidor

In Repeater Mode, the device extends the range of an existing Wi-Fi network. It receives the wireless signal from your main router and re-transmits it, effectively expanding your Wi-Fi coverage area. This mode is ideal for eliminating Wi-Fi dead zones.

6.2 AP (Access Point) Mode

In AP Mode, the device connects to a wired network (e.g., via an Ethernet cable from your router) and broadcasts a new wireless network. This mode is useful for adding Wi-Fi capability to a wired-only network or creating a separate Wi-Fi network.

7. Instruccions de funcionament

After successful setup, the repeater will automatically extend your Wi-Fi signal. You can connect your wireless devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart TVs) to the extended network just as you would to any other Wi-Fi network.

The LAN port on the repeater allows you to connect a wired device (e.g., a desktop computer, gaming console, or smart TV) to the network, providing a stable wired connection while still extending the wireless signal.

8. Manteniment

• Mantingueu el dispositiu net netejant-lo amb un drap suau i sec. No utilitzeu netejadors líquids ni aerosols.
• Assegureu-vos que el dispositiu estigui col·locat en una zona ben ventilada per evitar el sobreescalfament.
• Periodically check for firmware updates on the manufacturer's weblloc per garantir un rendiment i una seguretat òptims.
• If the device becomes unresponsive, you can perform a soft reset by unplugging it from the power outlet for 10 seconds and then plugging it back in.
• To restore factory settings, press and hold the 'Reset' button (usually located in a small pinhole) for about 5-10 seconds until the lights flash. This will erase all custom configurations.

9. Solució De Problemes

9.1 No Power / Lights Off

• Ensure the repeater is securely plugged into a working power outlet.

9.2 Cannot Connect to 'Wireless-Repeater' Network

• Ensure the repeater is powered on and the power indicator light is solid.
• Move closer to the repeater.
• Restart the repeater by unplugging and replugging it.

• Ensure your device is connected to the 'Wireless-Repeater' network.
• Verify that you have typed the IP address correctly in the browser's address bar.
• Prova una altra web navegador.

9.4 Extended Network Has No Internet Access

• Ensure your main router has a working internet connection.
• Verify that you entered the correct Wi-Fi password for your main network during setup.
• Relocate the repeater closer to your main router to ensure it receives a strong signal.
• Restart both your main router and the repeater.
• Perform a factory reset on the repeater and reconfigure it.
