2. Instruccions de seguretat importants

Seguiu sempre les precaucions de seguretat bàsiques quan utilitzeu aparells elèctrics per reduir el risc d'incendi, descàrrega elèctrica i lesions a les persones.

• Llegiu totes les instruccions abans d’utilitzar l’aparell.
• Assegureu-vos que l'aparell estigui connectat a un Presa de 15A with proper grounding.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Always use oven mitts or gloves when handling hot items or surfaces.
• Per protegir-vos contra les descàrregues elèctriques, no submergiu el cable, els endolls ni l'aparell en aigua ni en altres líquids.

• When in operation, switch off the power cable every time you open the glass door to insert or remove the tray from the unit.

4. Configuració i primer ús

4.1 Desembalatge

Carefully remove the oven and all accessories from the packaging. Remove any packing materials, stickers, or protective films from the appliance. Keep the packaging for future storage or transport if needed.

4.2 Col·locació

• Col·loqueu el forn sobre una superfície estable, plana i resistent a la calor.
• Ensure there is adequate space (at least 10-15 cm) around all sides of the oven for proper ventilation. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
• Keep the oven away from flammable materials, curtains, and heat sources.

4.3 Initial Burn-Off

Before using the oven for the first time, it is recommended to perform an initial burn-off to eliminate any manufacturing odors or residues. This process may produce a slight smoke or odor, which is normal.

1. Ensure the oven is empty, with no food or accessories inside except the crumb tray.
2. Set the temperature knob to 230 °C.
3. Set the function knob to the Calefacció superior i inferior mode.

5. Allow the oven to operate for 30 minutes. Ensure the area is well-ventilated during this process.
6. Once complete, turn off the oven and unplug it. Allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

5.1 Tauler de control acabatview

The Borosil Prima 30 L OTG features three control knobs for easy operation:

• Pom de control de temperatura: Ajusta la temperatura de cocció de 90 °C a 230 °C.
• Botó de funció: Selects one of the six heating modes:
  • Calefacció més baixa
  • Upper & lower heating + fan (Convection)
  • Upper heating + fan
  • Upper heating & lower heating
  • Upper heating & rotisserie
  • Upper & lower heating + rotisserie + fan
• Botó del temporitzador: Sets the cooking time from 0 to 60 minutes. It also includes a "Stay On" function for continuous operation.

5.2 Preescalfament

Always preheat the oven before placing food inside, unless specified otherwise by a recipe. Preheating ensures even cooking and optimal results.

1. Place the appropriate rack (grill rack) in the desired position.
2. Set the temperature knob to the desired cooking temperature.
3. Select the desired heating function.
4. Set the timer for 10-15 minutes to allow the oven to reach the set temperature. The power indicator light will illuminate during operation.

5.3 Modes i funcions de cocció

The Borosil Prima 30 L OTG offers various modes for diverse cooking needs:

• Cocció: Ideal for cakes, cookies, bread, and casseroles. Use the Upper & Lower Heating mode. For even baking, consider using the convection fan.
• A la brasa: Perfect for vegetables, paneer, and open-faced sandwiches. Use the Upper Heating mode.
• Torrat: Suitable for meats like chicken, potatoes, and larger vegetables. Use Upper & Lower Heating, possibly with convection for faster, even cooking.
• Torrat: For bread, bagels, or small snacks. Use Upper Heating or Upper & Lower Heating.
• Tecnologia de convecció: The integrated fan circulates hot air evenly throughout the oven chamber, resulting in faster cooking times and more uniform browning. This is particularly useful for baking and roasting.
• Motorised Rotisserie: Designed for roasting whole chickens, large cuts of meat, or kebabs. The automated rotation ensures uniform grilling and browning on all sides.

5.4 Ús del rostidor

1. Secure the food (e.g., whole chicken) onto the rotisserie rod using the forks.
2. Insert the pointed end of the rotisserie rod into the drive socket on the right side of the oven.
3. Rest the notched end of the rod on the left rotisserie support.
4. Select a rotisserie function using the function knob (e.g., Upper heating & rotisserie).
5. Set the desired temperature and timer.
6. To remove, use the rotisserie handle to lift and pull out the hot rod.

5.5 Monitoring Food

The oven features a brightly lit interior chamber, allowing you to easily monitor your dish's progress without opening the door, thus maintaining consistent internal temperature.

6. Cura i Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

Una neteja regular ajudarà a mantenir el rendiment i l'aspecte del forn.

1. Desendolleu sempre el forn de la presa de corrent i deixeu-lo refredar completament abans de netejar-lo.
2. Safata de molla: The removable crumb tray should be emptied and cleaned regularly to prevent grease buildup and potential fire hazards. Wash with warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly.
3. Interior: Netegeu les superfícies interiors amb anunciamp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, a non-abrasive cleaner designed for ovens can be used. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.
4. Exterior: Netegeu l'exterior amb un suau, damp drap. No utilitzeu netejadors abrasius ni fregalls que puguin ratllar l'acabat.
5. Accessoris: Wash the cooking tray, grill rack, rotisserie rod, and handles with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
6. Never immerse the main oven unit, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.

When not in use for extended periods, ensure the oven is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
