Game Cartridge Installation
To begin playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, insert the game cartridge into your Nintendo Switch console.

- Open the game card slot cover located on the top right side of the Nintendo Switch console.
- Insert the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game cartridge with the label facing the same direction as the console screen until it clicks into place.
- Close the game card slot cover.
