The EASYGUARD EC002-HY-NS is a smart key Passive Keyless Entry (PKE) system designed to enhance vehicle security and convenience. Nota important: Professional car alarm installer installation is required for this system. Ensure you can find a qualified installer before purchasing. An extra bypass module (e.g., ASIN: B00MEHBVIC or B07NSLPBG7) is required if your factory OEM key fob has a chip immobilizer. The steering lock must be unlocked/released/removed during installation.

PKE Antenna Installation:

Proper placement of the PKE antennas is crucial for optimal passive keyless entry functionality. The system typically includes front and rear PKE antennas.

The front PKE antenna is typically installed near the windshield, while the rear antenna is placed towards the back of the vehicle, often near the rear window or trunk area. Consult the detailed wiring diagram provided with your product for precise placement and connection instructions.

Passive Keyless Entry (PKE):

The PKE feature allows for automatic locking and unlocking of your vehicle based on the proximity of the smart key fob.

• Desbloqueig automàtic: When you approach the vehicle within 1-3 meters with the key fob, the car doors will automatically unlock.
• Bloqueig automàtic: When you walk away from the car for 2-3 meters with the key fob, the car doors will automatically lock.

Remote Engine Start/Stop:

The system allows you to remotely start your vehicle, which can be useful for pre-cooling in summer or pre-warming in winter.

• To remote start, press and hold the start button on the key fob for approximately 3 seconds.
• To remote stop, press and hold the start button on the key fob again for approximately 3 seconds.
