1. Introducció

Welcome to Monopoly Madrid, the classic property trading game where players buy, sell, and trade properties in the vibrant city of Madrid. This instruction manual provides a comprehensive guide to setting up and playing the game, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants.

The objective of Monopoly is to be the last player remaining with money, having driven all other players into bankruptcy. This edition features unique tokens including a Rubber Ducky, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and Penguin, adding a fresh touch to the traditional gameplay.

2. Components

3. Configuració

2. Cartes separades: Separate the Chance cards and Community Chest cards. Shuffle each deck individually and place them face-down on their designated spaces on the game board.
3. Designar un banquer: One player is chosen as the Banker. The Banker is responsible for all money, Title Deeds, Houses, and Hotels not yet owned by players. The Banker may also play, but must keep their personal funds separate from the bank's.

4. Com jugar (instruccions d'ús)

4.1 Game Start

Players roll both dice. The player with the highest total starts the game. Play proceeds clockwise.

4.2 Torn de jugador

On your turn, roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board the number of spaces indicated by the dice. The action you take depends on the space you land on:

• Propietat sense propietari: You may buy the property for the price printed on the board. If you decline, the property is immediately auctioned off to the highest bidder.
• Propietat: If another player owns the property, you must pay them rent according to the Title Deed card. Rent increases if the property is part of a color set or has houses/hotels.

• "GO" Space: If you pass or land on "GO", collect $200 from the Bank.

4.3 Doubles

If you roll doubles, you take your turn as usual, then roll again. If you roll doubles three times in a row, you immediately go to Jail.

4.4 Building Houses and Hotels

Once you own all properties in a color group (a "monopoly"), you can begin building houses and hotels on those properties. You must build evenly across the color group. Four houses on a property can be traded in for one hotel.

4.5 Mortgaging Properties

If you need money, you can mortgage properties to the Bank. Mortgaged properties do not collect rent. To unmortgage, pay the mortgage value plus 10% interest.

4.6 Trading

5. Game End

The game ends when only one player remains solvent, and all other players have gone bankrupt. The last player remaining is the winner.

A player goes bankrupt if they cannot pay their debts (rent, taxes, etc.) even after selling all their houses/hotels, mortgaging properties, and trading with other players.
