3.4 Fuel Mixture Preparation

• This brushcutter uses a 2-stroke engine. Mix unleaded petrol with high-quality 2-stroke engine oil at the ratio specified by Stiga (typically 50:1 or 25:1, refer to engine label or quick start guide for exact ratio).
• Use a clean, approved fuel container for mixing.
• Shake the mixture thoroughly before pouring into the fuel tank.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your brushcutter.

4.1 Arrencada del motor

1. Col·loqueu la desbrossadora sobre una superfície plana i estable.
2. Ensure the stop switch is in the "ON" position.
3. Encebeu el carburador prement la pera d'encebament diverses vegades fins que es vegi el combustible.
4. Accioneu l'estrangulador (si arrenca en fred).
5. Estireu el cordó d'arrencada amb fermesa i suaument fins que el motor s'encengui.
6. Un cop el motor arrenqui, desconnecteu l'estrangulador gradualment.
7. Allow the engine to warm up for a few moments before applying full throttle.

4.2 Funcionament de la desbrossadora

• Wear the shoulder harness for comfortable and balanced operation.
• Hold the brushcutter firmly with both hands on the handlebar.
• Maintain a stable footing and balance.
• Cut with a sweeping motion, moving from right to left to throw debris away from you.
• Avoid hitting hard objects with the cutting line.
• To extend the trimmer line, tap the cutting head gently on the ground while the engine is running at full throttle (Tap & Go system).

4.3 Parar el motor

5. Manteniment

• Reinstall the spark plug and cap, tightening to the recommended torque.
