1. Introducció

3.1. Components

• Pantalla digital: 6000 counts, showing measurement values, units, and various indicators (e.g., TRMS, AUTO, MAX/MIN, HOLD, low battery).

4. Configuració

4.1. Instal·lació de la bateria

The VOLTCRAFT VC-440 E requires one 9V battery (included). To install or replace the battery:

1. Ensure the multimeter is turned OFF and all test leads are disconnected from the device and any circuit.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the multimeter (refer to Figure 3.2).
3. Unscrew the retaining screw(s) for the battery cover.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

Before any measurement, ensure the test leads are correctly inserted into the appropriate input jacks and the rotary switch is set to the desired function.

5.1. Mesura de la tensió de CCtage (V-)

1. Insert the red test lead into the VΩHz jack and the black test lead into the COM jack.
2. Turn the rotary switch to the V- position.
3. Connecteu els cables de prova al component o circuit que s'ha de mesurar.
4. Llegeix el voltage valor a la pantalla.

5.2. Mesurar AC Voltage (V~)

1. Insert the red test lead into the VΩHz jack and the black test lead into the COM jack.
2. Turn the rotary switch to the V~ position.
3. Connecteu els cables de prova al component o circuit que s'ha de mesurar.
4. Llegeix el voltage valor a la pantalla.

5.3. Measuring Resistance (Ω)

1. Assegureu-vos que el circuit estigui desenergitzat abans de mesurar la resistència.
2. Insert the red test lead into the VΩHz jack and the black test lead into the COM jack.
3. Turn the rotary switch to the Ω position. If necessary, press SELECT to cycle to resistance measurement.
4. Connecteu els cables de prova a través del component.

5.4. Measuring Current (A~ / A-)

CAUTION: Never connect the multimeter in parallel with a voltage source when measuring current. Always connect it in series with the load.

1. De-energize the circuit and open it at the point where current is to be measured.
2. For currents up to 600mA, insert the red test lead into the mAµA jack. For currents up to 10A, insert the red test lead into the 10A jack. Insert the black test lead into the COM jack.
3. Turn the rotary switch to the appropriate A~ or A- position. Use SELECT to choose AC or DC current if needed.

5. Re-energize the circuit and read the current value on the display.

5.5. Measuring Frequency (Hz)

1. Insert the red test lead into the VΩHz jack and the black test lead into the COM jack.

6. Manteniment

6.1. Neteja
