1. Introducció

2. Instruccions de seguretat

• Never operate the machine if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, or if it has been dropped or damaged.

4. Configuració

4.1 Desembalatge i col·locació

Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Place the machine on a stable, flat surface with adequate lighting. Ensure there is enough space around the machine for comfortable operation.

4.2 Connexió d'alimentació

Connect the power cord to the machine's power input and then to a suitable electrical outlet. Connect the foot controller to its designated port on the machine.

4.3 Attaching the Extension Table

If your package includes the extension table, align its pins with the corresponding holes on the machine's free arm and gently push to secure it. This provides a wider sewing surface, especially useful for quilting and larger projects.

4.4 Enrotllament de la bobina

1. Col·loqueu una bobina de fil al portacarret.

4. Wrap the thread around the bobbin a few times, then push the bobbin winder shaft to the right.
5. Press the Start/Stop button to begin winding. The machine will automatically stop when the bobbin is full.

4.5 Instal·lació de la bobina

1. Obriu la placa de la coberta de la bobina.
2. Introduïu la bobina enrotllada a la caixa de la bobina, assegurant-vos que el fil es desenrotlli en la direcció correcta (normalment en sentit antihorari).
3. Guieu el fil a través de la molla tensora i cap a la ranura del guiafils.
4. Tanqueu la placa de la coberta de la bobina.

4.6 Enfilat superior

1. Aixequeu la palanca del peu premsador.
2. Col·loqueu una bobina de fil al portacarret.
3. Follow the numbered threading path indicated on the machine, guiding the thread through the tension discs and take-up lever.
4. Use the automatic needle threader for convenience, or manually thread the needle from front to back.

4.7 Instal·lació de l'agulla

Ensure the machine is turned off before changing the needle.

1. Afluixeu l'agulla clamp cargol.
2. Traieu l'agulla vella.
3. Introduïu la nova agulla amb el costat pla mirant cap a la part posterior de la màquina, empenyent-la cap amunt fins al fons.
4. Apretar l'agulla clamp cargol de manera segura.

4.8 Attaching the Knee Lift Lever

Insert the knee lift lever into the designated slot on the front right side of the machine. This allows you to raise and lower the presser foot with your knee, keeping your hands free for fabric manipulation.

The JUKI HZL-DX7 features an intuitive LCD screen and direct pattern selection buttons. Use the navigation buttons to browse stitch patterns and adjust settings such as stitch length, width, and tension.

5.2 Selecció de puntades

Turn on the machine. Use the direct pattern selection buttons or navigate through the menu on the LCD screen to choose your desired stitch. The machine offers a wide range of utility, decorative, and quilting stitches, including 3 font options for lettering.

5.3 Costura bàsica

3. Press the Start/Stop button or use the foot controller to begin sewing.
4. Adjust the sewing speed using the speed control slider.
5. Press the reverse stitch button for back-tacking at the beginning and end of seams.

6. Manteniment

6.1 Neteja

Turn off and unplug the machine before cleaning. Use the provided brush to remove lint and dust from the bobbin area, feed dogs, and needle plate. Periodically remove the needle plate for a more thorough cleaning of the feed dog area.

6.2 Lubricació

The JUKI HZL-DX7 is designed for minimal lubrication. Refer to the detailed instructions in the full manual for specific lubrication points and frequency, if required. Over-lubrication can attract lint and cause issues.
