3. Configuració

3.1 Instal·lació de la bateria

  1. Localitzeu el compartiment de la bateria a la part posterior del dispositiu (vegeu la Figura 2.2).
  2. Obriu la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.
  3. Introduïu dues piles AAA d'1.5 V, assegurant-vos de la polaritat correcta (+/-).
  4. Tanqueu bé la tapa del compartiment de la bateria.

3.2 Engegada/apagada

  • To power on, press any button. The device will perform a self-test and display the last measurement mode.
  • The device features an automatic shutdown function to save power. It will power off after a period of inactivity.

4. Instruccions de funcionament

4.1 Mesura bàsica

  1. Assegureu-vos que el dispositiu estigui encès.
  2. Place the probe perpendicularly and firmly onto the surface of the coated material.
  3. The measurement reading will be displayed on the screen. The device will automatically identify the substrate type (Fe for magnetic, NFe for non-magnetic).
  4. Lift the probe from the surface to prepare for the next measurement.

4.2 Modes de mesura

Premeu el botó MODE button to cycle through different measurement modes:

  • Single Measurement (SNG): Displays one measurement at a time.
  • Mesura contínua (CONT): Continuously takes and displays measurements as the probe is moved across the surface.
  • Differential Measurement (DIF): Measures the difference between the current reading and a set reference value.

4.3 Selecció d'unitats

Premeu el botó UNITAT button to switch between metric (µm, mm) and imperial (mil) units. The selected unit will be displayed on the screen.

4.4 Calibració

Calibration ensures measurement accuracy. It is recommended to calibrate the device when using it in different environments or if significant temperature differences occur.

  1. Zero-point Calibration:
    • Place the probe directly on a bare, uncoated metal substrate (magnetic or non-magnetic, depending on the measurement type).

5. Manteniment

5.1 Neteja

  • Wipe the device body with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the casing o pantalla.
  • Keep the probe tip clean and free from debris to ensure accurate measurements.

5.2 Emmagatzematge

  • Quan no les feu servir durant períodes prolongats, traieu les piles per evitar fuites.
  • Store the device in its protective case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5.3 Substitució de la bateria

  • When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace both AAA batteries promptly.
  • Seguiu els passos d'instal·lació de la bateria que s'indiquen a la secció 3.1.

6. Solució De Problemes

Problema Causa possible Solució
