3. Configuració

1. Desembalatge: Carefully remove the bumper track from its packaging. Inspect for any damage.
2. Connexió: Align the Unitrack joiners on the bumper track with the corresponding joiners on your existing N-Gauge track layout. Gently push the sections together until they are securely connected. Ensure a firm connection for reliable electrical contact.

The primary function of the Illuminated Bumper Track is to provide a visual indication of the end of a track section and to prevent trains from running off the layout. When the track is energized, the integrated LED light in the bumper will illuminate. This serves two main purposes:

If the light housing frequently detaches, consider applying a small amount of model-safe adhesive (e.g., rubber cement or plastic cement) to the base of the stop block before installation to secure it permanently.

• Light Not Illuminating:
  • Check if the track section is properly connected to a powered layout.
  • Ensure there are no breaks in the electrical circuit leading to the bumper track.
  • Verify that the track rails are clean and free of oxidation or dirt that might impede electrical flow.
  • Confirm the LED light housing is securely seated in the bumper.
• Bumper Detaches Easily:
  • Reattach the light housing to the bumper.
  • For a more permanent solution, apply a small amount of model-safe adhesive to the base of the stop block to secure the light housing.
