1. Instruccions de seguretat importants

3. Configuració

3.1 Desembalatge i inspecció

Carefully remove the rotary hammer drill and all accessories from the carrying case. Inspect the tool for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all components listed in the package contents are present:

3.2 Fixació de la nansa auxiliar

The auxiliary handle provides additional control and stability during operation. To attach:

2. Slide the handle over the chuck end of the tool until it rests in the desired position.

3.3 Inserció i extracció de broques/cisells

This tool uses SDS-Plus type bits. To insert:

1. Clean the shank of the drill bit or chisel.
2. Estireu la màniga del mandril cap enrere.
3. Introduïu la broca al portabroca fins que encaixi al seu lloc.
4. Release the chuck sleeve. Pull on the bit to ensure it is securely locked. There will be a slight play, which is normal for SDS-Plus systems.

2. Remove the drill bit or chisel.

4.1 Selecció de la funció

The GY-RH-40040-1 offers three operating modes, selected via the mode selector switch located on the side of the tool:

4.2 Trigger and Lock Button

• Inici de l'eina: Press the trigger switch. The tool features variable speed, meaning the speed increases with greater trigger pressure.
• Funcionament continu: For extended use, press the lock button while the trigger is fully depressed. Release the trigger to stop continuous operation.
• Aturar l'eina: Release the trigger switch. If the lock button is engaged, press the trigger fully and then release it to disengage the lock.

4.3 Funció reversible

A reversible switch (usually a lever near the trigger) allows you to change the direction of rotation. This is useful for removing jammed drill bits or driving/removing screws (with appropriate accessories).

Precaució: Only change the direction of rotation when the tool is completely stopped.

4.4 Using the Depth Gauge

The depth gauge helps to drill holes to a precise depth. To set:

4. Position the tip of the drill bit against the workpiece.
