Introducció

This manual provides instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Brita XL Water Filter Dispenser UltraMax. This dispenser is designed to provide cleaner, great-tasting tap water by reducing various contaminants.

The UltraMax dispenser has an extra-large capacity, holding 27 cups of filtered water, suitable for families, teams, or offices. Its design allows for convenient storage, including fitting in most refrigerators. The electronic filter indicator helps track filter life.

The included Brita Elite filter utilizes Advanced Carbon Core Technology to reduce 99% of lead, chlorine (taste and odor), asbestos, mercury, benzene, and cadmium. One Elite filter can replace up to 900 16.9 oz plastic bottles.

Instruccions de configuració

1. Desempaquetar components: Traieu amb cura totes les peces de l'embalatge.
2. Wash Dispenser: Hand wash the dispenser body, lid, and reservoir with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
3. Preparació del filtre: Wash your hands. Remove the Brita Elite filter from its bag. Flush the filter with cold water for 15 seconds.
4. Instal·leu el filtre: Insert the filter into the reservoir. Align the groove on the filter with the notch in the reservoir. Press firmly to ensure a tight seal.
5. Initial Fill and Flush: Add cold tap water to the reservoir. Allow the water to filter through. Discard the first three full reservoirs of filtered water to flush the system and remove any carbon dust.

Instruccions de funcionament

• Farciment: Lift the lid and pour cold tap water into the reservoir. The water will filter through to the main body of the dispenser.
• Dispensació: Use the easy-pour spigot located at the bottom of the dispenser to pour filtered water into your glass or container.
• Ompliment: Refill the dispenser with cold tap water as needed. It is recommended to refill only when the dispenser is mostly empty to ensure fresh water.

Manteniment

• Substitució del filtre: The Brita Elite filter should be replaced approximately every 6 months, or after filtering 120 gallons of water, for optimal performance. The electronic filter indicator on the lid will signal when a replacement is due.
• Neteja: Hand wash the dispenser body, lid, and reservoir regularly with mild soap and water. Do not wash in a dishwasher.

Resolució de problemes

• Slow Filtration: If water filters very slowly, ensure the filter is correctly seated. Remove the filter, dry the sealing area, and reinsert it firmly into the reservoir, ensuring a tight seal.
• Water Not Filtering: If water is not filtering or is bypassing the filter, check for a loose seal around the filter. Re-seat the filter as described above.
• Sabor inusual: If the filtered water has an unusual taste, ensure the initial flushing steps were followed. If the issue persists, replace the filter.
• Electronic Filter Indicator Not Working: Check the battery if applicable (some models have replaceable batteries). If the issue persists, contact customer support.
