1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the BONTEC GDM02U Dual Monitor Arm. This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of your monitor arm. Please read these instructions carefully before assembly and retain them for future reference.

This dual monitor arm is designed to support two 13-32 inch LED LCD screens, each weighing up to 8 kg (17.6 lbs), with VESA mounting patterns of 75x75mm or 100x100mm.

4. Configuració i instal·lació

The BONTEC GDM02U offers two installation methods: Desk Clamp and Grommet Base.

4.1 Choose Your Installation Method

4.2 Escriptori Clamp Instal·lació

1. Enganxeu el C-clamp al pol principal.
2. Col·loca el clamp on the edge of your desk and tighten the screw until secure. Ensure the desk thickness is between 10mm and 83mm.
3. Slide the monitor arms onto the pole and secure them at the desired height.

4.3 Instal·lació de la base del grommet

1. If your desk has a grommet hole (10-50mm diameter), insert the grommet base through the hole.
2. Secure the base from underneath the desk using the provided plate and nut. Ensure the desk thickness is between 10mm and 83mm.
3. Slide the monitor arms onto the pole and secure them at the desired height.

4.4 Attaching Monitors

1. Attach the VESA plates to the back of your monitors using the appropriate screws (M4 or M5, depending on your monitor). Ensure the VESA pattern is 75x75mm or 100x100mm.
2. Carefully slide the monitors (with VESA plates attached) onto the arms' mounting heads. The VESA plates have open top slots for easy hanging.
3. Secure the monitors by tightening the bottom screws on the VESA plates.

4.5 Gestió de cables

Route your monitor cables through the integrated cable management channels on the underside of the arms. This helps maintain a clean and organized workspace.

5. Funcionament i ajust

The BONTEC GDM02U monitor arm offers extensive flexibility for optimal viewangles d'ajust i posicionament ergonòmic.

• Ajust d'alçada: The gas spring allows for smooth vertical movement. Gently push or pull the monitor to the desired height (up to 400mm).
• Inclinació: Tilt the monitor +90° (upwards) to -45° (downwards) to reduce glare and optimize viewing.
• Girar: Swivel the monitor ±90° left or right. The arm itself can swivel 360° at the base and 250° at the elbow joint.
• Rotació: Rotate the monitor 360° for landscape or portrait orientation.

5.2 Ajust de la tensió de la molla de gas

If your monitor does not stay at the desired height, or if it is too difficult to move, you may need to adjust the gas spring tension. Use the provided Allen key to turn the tension screw located on the arm joint:

• Gira sentit horari (-) a disminuir tensió (per a monitors més lleugers).
• Gira en sentit antihorari (+) a augmentar tensió (per a monitors més pesants).

Adjust gradually until the monitor holds its position firmly and moves smoothly.

6. Manteniment

• Neteja: Netegeu el braç del monitor amb un drap suauamp drap. Eviteu productes de neteja o dissolvents abrasius.
• Comprovacions periòdiques: Reviseu periòdicament tots els cargols i connexions per assegurar-vos que estiguin ben ajustats. Torneu a apretar-los si cal.
• Molla de gas: La molla de gas està dissenyada per a un ús a llarg termini i generalment no requereix manteniment. No intenteu desmuntar el cilindre de la molla de gas.
