1. Introducció

Thank you for choosing the WMF Kult X Edition Food Chopper. This appliance is designed for efficient and quick chopping of various food items. 2. Instruccions de seguretat importants

• Avoid contact with moving parts. The blades are very sharp; handle with extreme care during assembly, disassembly, and cleaning.

4. Configuració

Before first use, wash all parts that will come into contact with food (glass container, blade assembly, lid) according to the cleaning instructions. Ensure all parts are completely dry before assembly.

1. Place the glass container on a stable, flat surface.
2. Carefully place the blade assembly onto the central pin inside the glass container. Ensure it sits securely.
3. Add your ingredients to the glass container. Do not exceed the 'MAX' fill line indicated on the container.
4. Place the lid onto the glass container, ensuring it aligns correctly with the container's rim.
5. Position the motor unit onto the lid. It should fit snugly and lock into place, activating the safety interlock.

5. Instruccions de funcionament

The WMF Kult X Edition Food Chopper features two speed settings for versatile chopping.

1. Assegureu-vos que l'aparell estigui correctament muntat i endollat.
2. Speed I (Gentle): Press and hold the button marked with a single line (I) for a slower, more controlled chop, ideal for softer ingredients or coarser results.
3. Speed II (Powerful): Press and hold the button marked with a double line (II) for a faster, more powerful chop, suitable for harder ingredients or finer results.
4. Pulse operation: For best results and to prevent over-processing, use short pulses by pressing and releasing the desired speed button repeatedly.
5. Once chopping is complete, release the button and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
6. Carefully remove the motor unit, then the lid, and finally the blade assembly before emptying the chopped ingredients.

• Cut larger ingredients into smaller, uniform pieces (approx. 1-2 cm) before placing them in the container.
• Do not overload the container. Process in smaller batches if necessary.
• For ingredients like herbs or garlic, add a small amount of liquid (water or oil) to help them circulate and chop evenly.

6. Manteniment i Neteja

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your appliance. Always unplug the chopper before cleaning.

• Glass Container, Lid, and Blade Assembly: These parts are recommended for rentat a mà only. Wash them in warm, soapy water immediately after use to prevent food residue from drying. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing.
• Precaució: The blades are extremely sharp. Handle the blade assembly with extreme care during cleaning to avoid injury.

7. Solució De Problemes

If you encounter issues with your WMF Kult X Edition Food Chopper, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• L'aparell no s'encén:

  • Check that the motor unit is correctly seated and locked onto the lid, and the lid is properly placed on the glass container. The appliance has a safety interlock system.
• Ingredients are not chopping evenly:

  • Do not overload the container. Reduce the quantity of ingredients.
  • Use the pulse function (short bursts) to allow ingredients to settle between pulses.
• Motor sounds strained or stops:
  • The container might be overloaded. Remove some ingredients.
  • Ingredients might be too hard. Avoid processing extremely hard items like ice or frozen foods.
  • Unplug the appliance and let the motor cool down for a few minutes before resuming operation.
• Leakage from the container:
  • Ensure the lid is properly sealed onto the glass container.
  • Do not overfill the container beyond the 'MAX' line.
